I am working on a photographic project regarding our senses and how individuals connect to their surroundings. I took some shots of Lou a friend who has been blind since birth, the thing about Lou is how finely attuned she is to all the other senses, it isn’t one sense that compensates for her lack of sight, all her senses are heightened.

Colours from nature

I was told many years ago by a Native American holy man and conservationist to take all my colour inspiration from nature, that it would never fail me.

This advice has provided me with every colour pallet imaginable to choose from. Perfect shades of naturals that blend together beautifully, bright vibrant hues that compliment each other perfectly, all there to see within a single feather, a shell, a flower, a pebble, a leaf, an insects wing.

The more you look the more you see.
