Japanese tsunami six months on

Des our senior creative designer has family in Japan and on one of his regular visits found these amazing photographs that show the phenomenal clean up taking place since the tsunami struck.

Whilst never underestimating the enormity of the devastation caused by any disaster, it seems sad to me that we are rarely shown the positive work taking place once the head lining story of the latest tragedy has passed. The spirit of togetherness to get the job done, that demonstrates all that is best in human nature in the face of adversity, is just as worthy of our attention and celebration.
