Changing the American mobile retail landscape
In the American market, where phones are typically sold in large electrical stores or online, Best Buy spotted an opportunity to change direction. Creating the first stand-alone mobile phone stores was an exciting challenge, and gave us the opportunity to take the best of Carphone Warehouse’s mobile shopping experience to the Big Apple.
Best Buy Mobile opened 10 flagship stores in New York to great success with a further rollout of 150-200 stores planned over an 18 month period.
